Nottingham Winter Wonderland (2020)
Nottingham's annual Winter Wonderland Outdoor Christmas Market on Saturday 5th December during the COVID-19 pandemic. This was during tier 3 lockdown restrictions. Shut after one day due to organisers being criticised for a lack of social distancing. The market had multiple rides and 40 stalls.

Escalator
It wasn't only the market, the nearby shopping centre that's also in the town centre was busy too.

Dinosaur Duo
A sweet stall near the market.

Busy Coffee Shop
There was a long queue for Costa.

Christmas Chocolates
Vendor at the market.

Cuppa
Another crowd shot. Most people moved to a quieter area after getting their food and drinks, but not all.

Shop Small
Big push for shopping small and local this year to help struggling buisnesses. This sign was spotted in a shop window near the market.

Family Bubble
Vendor selling festive food.

Primark Queue
The market increased the amount of visitors the surrounding shops had. Primark already had long queues due to their products not being available online but this was longer than usual for the time of day.

Leaving Primark
Alternative view of Primark. People leaving who have just finished shopping.

Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas
Do you think this cute unicorn hat comes in adult sizes? ...Asking for a friend of course! Little kid looking festive at the Christmas market.

Santa Sacks
One of the many vendors at the Christmas market.

Hand Sanitiser
Amusing hand sanitiser spotted in Forbidden Planet a store that sells a lot of geeky items including comics and anime/manga merch.

Unique Crowd
A look at the rides and various visitors to Nottingham's Winter Wonderland. I love the punk's aesthetic.

Ferris Wheel
Massive tree and even bigger Ferris wheel.

No Entry
There was one enterance and one exit to try and encourage social distancing and to allow crowd control.

Christmas Market
To enter the main part of the Christmas Market there were security guards making people wear masks as it was the most crowded area. Most people were compliant with this.

Helter Skelter
The market was covered in many lights making it look beautiful at night. The Helter Skelter was an eye catching and iconic draw to the market.
